Providing custom casing solutions since 1998.
Slamhammer Roadcases has been providing custom casing solutions to a multitude of clients since our inception in 1998. From touring musicians to collegiate athletic organizations to a variety of venues and everything else in between!
Our team at Slamhammer has extensive experience in the live production industry and has been working hands on with cases over multiple decades. This experience has given our team tacit knowledge and insight on what works and what does not work in the ATA road case world.
Based in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, we are a small company that focuses on quality over quantity and thus we do not mass produce anything. Our focus is durability and high caliber products ranging from full customization to industry standard cases. Being a small, expert team with a high level of precision; we take pride in each product that goes through our hands and out of our doors. With high standards and quality craftsmanship you can be certain that your equipment will be in safe hands wherever it travels.
Slamhammer Roadcases are ATA style cases which are constructed of laminated ABS plywood, with the client color choice. Our products feature heavy duty recessed spring handles and twist latches, full-bearing swivel casters, heavy duty ball corners, and riveted reinforced aluminum extrusion. We provide custom foam cutting and high density foam installations to keep your gear safe.
Over the years we have built nearly every style of case in the game. Whether you are looking for a console case, an amp rack, a workbox, a case over for a cab or monitor, or a utility trunk… you name it we’ve built it! In addition to industry standard cases, we are all about those custom solutions for the client who may not know what specific case type they need, but know exactly what gear they need protected.
Over the years we have been contacted to work on cases for a variety of clients both big and small. While we pour the same amount of blood and sweat into each job, some notable projects from the past include work for: Elton John Productions, Prince/Paisley Park, Bassnectar, Atmosphere, Dave Chappelle, Tyler The Creator, and Bon Iver.
In addition to the acts mentioned above we have also done work with the following organizations:
"I'm a big fan of Slamhammer cases. These guys build them tough, they build them strong and they build them to take all the abuse the road or the crew can dish out. Slamhammer is our only supplier of road cases for a reason - they are the best! Thanks lads"
"Slamhammer has been a pleasure to work with over the past 5 or so years. Their communication is friendly and on point and their quality has always been outstanding!"
"Some of our oldest road cases came from Slamhammer. We use them on every show, year after year and they never quit. I’d rather get one repaired than buy an inferior product. Trunks, workboxes, custom interiors, they do it all and they do it well. The Twin cities are lucky to have them!"
